When it comes to Spider-Man suits, they don’t get much spicier than the red and black armor of Miles Morales. The costume, which he wears in Marvel’s Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and its sequel, isn’t made as often by cosplayers as it might seem, though one Reddit user has managed to create a spot-on replica of the suit. It takes a lot of work to do all the raised lines of webbing on the suit, which is likely applied with puff paint—it would have taken me hours just to do one small piece.
In Into the Spider-Verse, Miles inherits Peter Parker’s iconic suit shortly after his death, which is when he first starts using it to patrol New York City as Spider-Man. He later receives a second costume from his universe’s Nick Fury, which features more of a dark color palette and is better equipped for urban combat.
While most of the costumes in Marvel’s Spider-Man are either based on Peter’s or his alternate versions, there are a few that are wholly unique to Miles’ story. One such suit is the TRACK suit, which was created by artist Javier Garron, who also draws Miles’ comic written by Saladin Ahmed and illustrated by Gavin Goulden.
Throughout the course of the game, Miles acquires a variety of other suits as he protects his home city of Harlem from formidable threats like Sandman and Kraven. However, the Matter suit is probably his most stylish and flamboyant, resembling something out of an electronic music show or a rave. Miles morales Cosplay
